Description

The RAK7394 WisGate Developer CM4 is a feature-rich gateway for LoRaWAN, combining the RAKR314 carrier board, Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, RAK2287 Concentrator, and RAK2287 Pi HAT. The RAK2287 includes a GPS module and a heat sink, ensuring optimal performance and heat dissipation with its aluminum casing.

The RAKR314 Carrier Board is specifically designed for the Raspberry Compute Module CM4, following the Raspberry Pi 4 form factor. With a standard 40 PIN GPIO and support for the RAK PoE HAT, this board is perfect for power-over-Ethernet applications. It offers ample connectivity options, including two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB Type-C ports (for power and programming), and an Ethernet port. The SD card slot also provides extra storage or serves as the boot source for non-eMMC modules. The RAKR314 is also compatible with your existing HATs, allowing you to leverage their capabilities with the CM4 module.

The built-in RAK2013 Cellular Pi HAT, based on the Quectel EG95 LTE CAT4 module, is optimized for M2M and IoT applications, providing reliable cellular connectivity for your LoRaWAN projects.

The RAK2287, equipped with the SX1302 chip from Semtech, features a powerful digital signal processing engine and a built-in LoRa® concentrator IP core. It can receive up to 8 LoRa packets with different spreading factors on different channels, making it ideal for implementing innovative network architectures. The RAK2287 Pi HAT, with its Raspberry Pi form factor, enables easy mounting on top of the Raspberry Pi, thanks to its 40-pin female Pi HAT connector and mPCIe connector.

The RAK7394 is perfect for prototyping, proof-of-concept demonstrations, or evaluation purposes. It comes with a pre-installed LoRaWAN Gateway OS that can be easily connected to a LoRaWAN server. Its user-friendly design ensures a hassle-free setup, even for non-technical users. This gateway offers exceptional value and functionality, catering to various applications such as Smart Grid, Intelligent Farming, and other enterprise IoT applications.

Experience the future of LoRaWAN connectivity with the WisGate Developer CM4 series. Choose the model that suits your needs and embark on your IoT journey with confidence.
