Description

The Dragino SE0X-LS is a LoRaWAN soil moisture and EC Sensor for IoT agriculture, which can be equipped with 4 sensor probes. It is designed to measure the soil moisture of saline-alkali soil and loamy soil. The soil sensor uses the FDR method to calculate the soil moisture with compensation from soil temperature and conductivity. It has also been calibrated in the factory for Mineral soil type.

It detects Soil Moisture, Soil Temperature, and Soil Conductivity, and uploads the value via wireless to the LoRaWAN IoT Server.

The LoRa wireless technology used in SE0X-LS allows devices to send data and reach extremely long ranges at low data rates. It provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing current consumption.

SE0X-LS supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA update, which makes user easy to use.

A Solar panel + 3000mAh Li-ion battery powers SE0X-LS, it is designed for long-term use up to several years.

Each SE0X-LS is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations, register these keys to the local LoRaWAN server, and it will auto-connect after power on.

Can I calibrate SE0X-LS to different soil types?

SE0X-LS is calibrated for saline-alkali soil and loamy soil. If users want to use it for other soil, they can calibrate the value in the IoT platform based on the value measured by saline-alkali soil and loamy soil. The formula can be found at this link.
